My Kitchen Reveal

The day is finally here, I’m sharing the kitchen! It truly is the heart of our home and I feel lucky to spend most of my day in this space.

When we were looking to buy, we contemplated buying a home that needed a kitchen remodel, so that we could design it how we wanted. But, we quickly discovered there were new builds in our area that were move-in ready, no work required, and in our budget. This was a win-win for us in our season of life with a two year old and a growing family! We had showings at many homes, but when we walked into our current kitchen for the first time we fell in LOVE!

Even though I would love to design my own kitchen one day, this one fit our lifestyle and family perfectly! I also drool over a white kitchen, so this fit the bill and my aesthetic! We are also happy with the design and the fixtures the builder chose in this space. Having an open-concept was a top feature, along with cabinet storage and a big island. This island can seat up to six people, crazy! It is where we have most of our meals and is perfect for hosting parties or family from out of town (which we love doing since our family lives out-of-state).

The cabinets are white shaker style (builder custom white paint color) and the countertops are quartz. We were able to choose if we wanted to upgrade to a gas range, which we opted to do, and we customized our kitchen with all Bosch Appliances.
