Our New Daily Routine & Homeschooling

Like everybody else in this country, I’m trying to gain some sort of control and routine for my family over the next few (or more!) weeks. While I feel blessed we can all be together, I need to put my teacher hat on and create a homeschool routine for my almost 4 year old now that she won’t be attending preschool for the time being. Before being a stay at home mom with my two children, I was a middle school general education teacher and special education teacher for almost 10 years. I know each day is not going to be perfect and we will need to modify where necessary, but this daily routine will be a way where we can work on our daily chores (and cleaning!) and also focus on academics / creative play while setting priorities to get outside and free play!

Below is our daily routine I put together for my preschooler , but it could work for older kids as well, modifying where necessary. I also included links to workbooks, activities, and other item I’m using for instruction. Hope this helps you and your family!

Also, some educational apps we are using are Homer, Other Goose (free right now for 3 weeks), & Brainpop Jr.
